Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The pimp daddy Garth Franklin at Dark Horizons got a great bunch of images from the shooting of THE SPIRIT, directed by Frank Miller from his adaptation of Will Eisner's character. Get 'em while you can! I visited the set a little while back (read that here!!!) and the below pics are definitely indicative of what I saw. Lots of green, but some awesome costumes. I pulled a few (only 6 out of 20), so make sure to click on any of the below to see the full gallery over at DH. You'll see Sam Jackson wearing that awesome pimp costume I talked about in the report, Edgar Stiles from 24 as one of the thugs (standing next to one Scarlett Johansson, whom I unfortunately did not get to see live in the flesh), Eva Mendes in her crazy outfit and, of course, The Spirit himself. Macht has the chiseled features. He seemed to really get the character when I was there. Now it's up to Frank himself. If he can handle a solo outing without the knowhow of Rodriguez. He was very comfortable and laid back when I was there, so I have hope. Plus the pics are just sweet. Can't wait to see 'em after they've been through the post cycle and we really get to see what this world looks like brought to life...
