Images From "The Enterprise Incident" - This Weekend's STAR TREK REMASTERED!!

Merrick here...
...with some shots from this weekend's installment of STAR TREK REMASTERED. It's "The Enterprise Incident", in which Kirk & Spock have a spat because Enterprise is captured by a Romulan fleet. The original iteration of this episode always confused me when I was a kid because the "Romulan" ships looked just like the "Klingon" ships we'd seen previously, and not like the ROMULAN ships we'd seen before. Sure, Spock says something here about the Romulans using Klingon design in this episode...but...damn it...I wanted to see the Warbird stencil that the Romulans slapped on the bottom of their ships & it just wasn't there. The Remastered iteration corrects this shortcoming. The (Klingon-design) Romulan cruisers now sport the Romulan Warbird insignia on their underside (what's the technical term for a ship's underside?). One of the three cruisers that surrounds Enterprise has been replaced with a Romulan ship of traditional design. Also in this episode: Kirk & the gang swipe a Romulan cloaking device and plug it into Enterprise, which is then rendered "invisible" like Romulan ships. If I recall correctly, this intriguing thread was never touched on again. Guess it would've leveled the playing field too much if Enterprise had the same capabilities as her enemies. Here are some "before and after" shots...
