Something we missed from last week's SciFi upfront presentation: David Eick, writer-producer on the “Battlestar Galactica” and “Bionic Woman” remakes, is writing a pilot script for a series based on “Children of Men.” “Children,” the novel by P.D. James adapted into a 2006 Alfonso Cuaron movie, depicts a future in which no human has been born in more than 16 years. "It's not really a war show like the movie was,” Eick told scifiwire.com, explaining that the series will draw more from the print version than its big-screen counterpart.
