A viewer of SPECIES 2'''!!!

JThis spy here claims to have seen SPECIES 2. So let's take a look see at what he has to say, though salt your lime and take a deep drink.

Capt. Hilts here. First, I think you guys do a great job getting the word out about good (and bad) films. I log on every couple of days and read the reviews from top to bottom.

Now, I haven't written in before, mostly because some of your other spies have things clearly in hand. But I wanted to tell you a bit about Species 2. The release date keeps moving, but last time I heard, it was set for May. I saw a rough cut of it two months ago and while Natash Henstridge is still quite the betty, I wasn't all that impressed with the flick. I guess that's why they call it rough. I recently saw a polished copy and it's better. Some of the dialog problems were solved and the sfx are solid. Most of the old crowd has returned (Natasha, Michael, Marg), though Ben Kingsley's dead. George Dzunda has taken over Ben's role, sort of. Mykelti Williamson, along with two other astronauts have also come along for the ride.

Basically, scientists have recreated a more docile (yeah, right) Natasha in the lab, but a male alien, having returned inside one of the astronauts, comes looking for her. The alien effects at the end are good, though the male alien is decidedly reminiscent of Alien. Great Strip Club scene, but much less nudity from the now famous Natasha. Without ruining the end, think of this movie as Species meets Children of the Corn. When you see it, you'll know what I mean.
