Styrofoam & Moneypenny On This Weekend's STAR TREK REMASTERED!! It's "By Any Other Name"!!

Merrick here...
...with a shot from this weekend's STAR TREK Remastered episode. It's "By Any Other Name". This is the episode in which Enterprise is commandeered by a gang of humanoid Kelvans who are looking for a ride back to their planet...which, rather inconveniently, is in a whole other galaxy. You may remember this episode by two of its more noteworthy contributions to the TREK universe. 1) These aliens have the ability to distill people's essences into little foam cubes that can be transported, pulverized, reconstituted, etc. This freakled the crap out of me when I was a kid - I used to wonder if Styrofoam packing noodles were really the distilled essence of of hapless punk who chanced across a Kelvan. Also, this is the show in which Scotty gets one of the aliens shit-faced drunk. The alien asks Scotty what they're drinking, Scotty looks at the flask of booze, seems to have no idea, then replies casually, "It's green." "By Any Other Name" guest stars Warren Stevens (FORBIDDEN PLANET) and Barbara Bouchet (who was Moneypenny in the original CASINO ROYALE). She's really hot in a "baby abuse me" sort of way. Here are two BEFORE & AFTER images from this week's newly remastered episode. The first pic shows Kirk & his team landing on the planet in response to a "distress call" (later revealed to be from the Kelvans). The second is a shot of Enterprise heading towards their home in the Andromeda galaxy. I LOVE this first image...

HERE's a newly updated list of stations carrying the next wave of REMASTERED episodes. PLEASE NOTE that quite a few alterations have been made to this list; some stations & airtimes have changed altogether. So, if you've been watching these, be sure to check for changes in your area (the airtime shifted in my city by several hours). If you can't find a station near you, they can also be downloaded via iTunes and XBOX Live (where an increasing number of episodes are available in High Definition - the series is not shown in HD by many broadcasters).
