Screenwriters could be back to work as early as Wednesday. From tomorrow's Hollywood Reporter:

The Writers Guild East council and Writers Guild West board have voted to approve a new labor contract and are sending it to the guild membership for a ratification vote, officials on both coasts said Sunday. The vote will be conducted via mail ballot and at special meetings on a date to be determined, it said. The two WGA bodies voted to end the strike upon a majority vote of the membership, with that vote set for Tuesday.
