“WWE Smackdown,” a staple of UPN and successor The CW since April 1999, is ending its CW run in May. The WWE is reportedly now shopping the series to MyNet and NBC. If “Smackdown” doesn’t find a new home, fans of scripted wrestling can continue to flock to WWE’s “ECW” on the SciFi Channel, “Raw” on USA, and the WWE’s endless string of pay-per-view specials.
