Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The trades are just starting to wake from their holiday slumber and we got a good piece that hit Variety today. Mathieu Amalric has been cast as Bond's main adversary in the next installment to the James Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig. Amalric isn't well known yet, but his performance in THE DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTERFLY has been turning heads in critic circles. Expect to see his face on the awards shows... if we even get awards shows during this strike crazy atmosphere. They also confirmed with Sony that Jeffrey Wright will return as Bond's CIA buddy, Felix Leiter, which is cool. I thought he was great in CASINO ROYALE. Can't wait to see the next outing with Daniel Craig filling the tux and sipping the martinis. You?
