The Place To Discuss This Weekend's SISKEL AND EBERT episode with Harry

Alrighty everyone. Well... I saw my episode today, and well... What the hell am I gonna say, "I Loved It!" But you know what.... I'm a tad on the biased side.

On Monday, I'll post a wrap up to this whole Siskel and Ebert thing, where I talk about... what it is actually like... to be involved in all of this.

So far I've only heard from 5 people that have seen the episode via satellite feed, and they seemed to really enjoy it. One thought I had a great radio voice, one thought I should cut down on the "DEW" and well.... They all felt that, what they saw was a very good episode of SISKEL AND EBERT...

The below TALK BACK is reserved for those who have ACTUALLY SEEN the episode in Question. If you have 'health' issues with me, well... send it through email... believe it or not, I'll most likely respond. But this area is for you folks that have seen the show, to discuss the 'weirdness' of it, my inarticulateness (if you so feel) or the amount of ass I kicked (if you so feel).

If you haven't seen the episode... well, perhaps you shouldn't read the following TALK BACK because it may contain 'spoilers' if such things exist for a SISKEL AND EBERT (personally I feel they do).

Overall, I think I did a damn good job of, well, carrying on an entertaining, if all too brief, discussion on 5 films with Ebert. I know, that at the very least I got him to laugh and giggle... multiple times through the piece, and I hope I deliver the same to you... As well as giving you a clear indication of what I thought of the films in question.

Enjoy the show (or hate it if you want) and feel free to discuss your feelings about how it all came together.

Take care and I look forward to sharing a laugh and a giggle with the TALK BACKS below...

P.S. I guess I'll see you local AICN fans at the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE at 2pm this Sunday (April 25) for a sort of gathering of friends and readers of the site to watch EBERT and I grapple to the death... Who'll survive the plunge from the balcony? Who drew first blood? Prepare for the greatest "Thumb War" I've ever engaged in! God this is fun. See you at the ALAMO!

Just a quick note from FATHER GEEK. Yes, those are Harry's thumbs used to convey the famous "Thumbs up", and the infamous "Thumbs down". I say thumbs because they shot Harry's right hand for thumbs up and took a photo of his left hand for thumbs down. Coooooool, huh?

Another FATHER GEEK note, NO, Harry did not get to chose any of the films to be reviewed and NO Harry didn't even get to chose which ones he would do the intros for. That was all done by Roger's people, as was the editing that cut many of Harry's reasons for taking the stands he did on each film.
