Alrighty folks, I've been trying to find out more on this... to try and confirm it for you folks... But I can't. This is 100% RUMOR. If you want to run the odds... go. If you don't, don't blame me if it turns out to be true. I'm just passing along the 'possiblity that this could be happening. But is often the case on College Campuses... rumors... wild ones often spread. If you find out more, post it in TALK BACK... and keep everyone up to date. I'm seeing Cronenberg's film this morning so I won't be able to track this case for you. It's in your hands...
I know you don't usually cover Star Wars events, there are plenty of other web sites out there. I just thought I'd let you know that The Office of Special Events at USC is hosting a talk tomorrow by "a suprise guest". Well groups on campus that are helping organize the event have been told that the special guest is none other than Lucas himself. Evidently, they are worried about a huge number of people showing up, so have taken steps, not announcing Lucas and only running the ad in the Daily Trojan the day before. Just thought some of your readers might be interested, I know I'll be there.
And the latest is....
Lucas is speaking here at noon today (Thursday) in Bovard Auditorium and is supposedly going to reveal some stuff about the new film.
