Space Ghost chimed in with this look at THAT SPOOKY PLACE which sounds... well... interesting. We sure do have our fair share of scary houses and spooky spectres don't we? Still.. I say bring em on... there'll be some pretty darn good ones in there somewhere.... right?
I was able to get my hands on the official synopsis of the film. It was written up by the films author Robert A. Masciantonio. The film is being Executive Produced by Tom Savini and Robert A. Masciantonio. It looks like Matt Lilliard is going to star...
It’s not about a haunted house. It’s not about ghosts. It’s about the psychological ramifications of living in a haunted house. Ridgeway is bipolar. He has mood swings. He believes that is where his talent as a painter comes from. His true love, Anastasia, and best friend, JP, have come to grips with this and try to accept it. They don’t like it, but they try to deal with it. At the same time they endlessly try to help him realize that he doesn’t have to be “tortured” to be an artist. When they move into the old Tudor home things begin to change, tempers flare and fights break out. Ridgeway’s relationship with Anastasia is pushed to the limits... almost to the breaking point. Whatever looms in the house begins to take advantage of Ridgeway’s weakened mental condition. Does the house create mental instability... or does mental instability feed the house? One thing is for sure... something is trying to take Ridgeway into the darkness of his soul... to that spooky place that we all fear inside of us.
