“The 4400” showrunner Ira Steven Behr said last May that we will finally learn this season why forces from the future abducted and altered the title characters. Have we learned yet? Some in the future (one of whom has taken over the body of NTAC agent Tom Baldwin) like the future just fine the way it is. So maybe this is all about a zoning dispute? Tonight brings the final “4400” of the season, titled “The Great Leap Forward.” TV Guide says:

Season 4 ends with Seattle in chaos and NTAC asking Promise City for help. Meanwhile, Kyle's life is in danger and Jordan attempts to escape from the Marked.
