All kinds of stuff going down at recent Televison Critics Association events over the past few days. A few bits and pieces: * NBC entertainment co-chair Marc Graboff says Conan O’Brien is still set to replace Jay Leno as “Tonight Show” host in two years. Jimmy Fallon, I know from listening to the Howard Stern Show, is contracted to replace O’Brien on "Late Night" at that point. NBC hopes to keep Leno from defecting to ABC or Fox with a role in primetime maybe. * Towering 31-year-old redhead Alicia Witt, the first girl to exclaim on film that Paul-Muad'Dib was indeed the Kwisatz Haderach, will play a detective on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” which will play on USA before it hits NBC this year. * NBC reportedly approached Rosie O’Donnell about being part of arch nemesis Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” Rosie apparently said through a publicist that it will never happen. * Criss Angel and Uri Gellar will host “Phenomenon,” a new NBC reality series seeking the next top mentalist. * Jerry Seinfeld will play himself on the season premiere of “30 Rock.” * Handsome Isaiah Washington, recently departed from “Grey’s Anatomy,” appears in five episodes of NBC’s new “Bionic Woman.” * The mammothly wealthy Norman Lear, who turns 85 in 10 days, will produce a Wall Street dramedy for NBC. His hit “The Jeffersons” finished a decade-long run in 1985. In 1994, he masterminded “704 Hauser,” about the black people living in Archie Bunker’s old house.
