Merrick here...
The Giant Penny sent in two more shots of the Batpod (is that one word, or two?) from the New York Licensing Show.
Maybe our best look yet?
The more I think about it, this thing looks like some kind of Uber Sybian...

Yesterday, Warner Bros. issued high resolution images of the new Batsuit from THE DARK KNIGHT. This is the same image that Entertainment Weekly ran a lower-ressier version of last week.

You know...the new suit looks cool to me and all. But, whenever I look at this, I smell action figure variants. You know: "Deep Sea Batman", "Arctic Fresh Batman", "Jiffy Pop Batman", stuff like that. Makes me a bit uneasy.
Anyway, today Warners released two high res Bat Pod images from THE DARK KNIGHT. The first is the same shot that recently appeared in the LA Times. The second is a clearer shot of the vehicle.
Harry says this looks like a RETURN OF THE JEDI Speeder Bike mated with a Monster Truck. I can't get past the image of flattened little squirrel pelts mushed in between this thing's treads (those big wheels thumping when the carcasses cycle around as the Bat Pod races down the street).
CLICK TO EMBIGGEN THESE, TOO!!!
Just not quite the same without Meredith Viera grinding it.
