TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2000 news...

Well, I was geeking just from the concept of being in a movie that was in a Horror Film Marathon that featured TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and a pair of cool Argento flicks. See folks... this is why if you ever have a chance to be in a Horror film, you have to take it. Because then... some night, somewhere, you will become a part of somebody's horror marathon... whether they know it or not. Anyway the news on Chainsaw was sort of expected. Like I said before, I would rather see the franchise die than have another 'hack' job done on it. Do it right, or don't do it at all...

Dear Harry,

Though I've been reading your site for a couple of years, Ive never had much to contribute. But On Friday Night at the Priestley Cinema in Bradford in the UK, there was a horror film marathon featuring a preview of The Faculty (loved your cool cameo!) , Frightmare (a bizzare 70's british flick), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and a couple of Dario Argento movies (The Bird With The Crystal Plumage and Tenebre, both cool). It was a great chance to see chainsaw as it's still banned in Britain. The reason I'm writing is that Kim Henkel, the co-writer did a talk previous to the film being shown, and when the floor was oopened to questions, I asked If he was aware of the new Texas film (possibly called TX2000?) and if he thought it would be any good. He said that he knew people owned the rights to make a sequel, and that he had been approached to have some involvement with it, but he thinks that it's unlikely that the film will go into production due to severe script and budget problems and said that we wouldn't see such a film for a very long time.
