The LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake gets a director!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm in a weird place on this movie. On one hand, I do think there could be a better telling of the story (a great one about a group of murdering rapists who randomly find themselves under the roof of the parents of one of their victims) than the original. But on the other hand what makes it a candidate for remake (it's very dated and it's no-budget shows) is exactly what makes it a worry. I think part of the reason the movie worked in the first place was that it was so rough and that it was a product of its time.
A relatively unknown director, by the name of Dennis Iliadis is attached. He's a Greek director who is known for his European commercials and a feature film called HARDCORE. It's an interesting choice. I've never seen one thing he's done, but I found a music video for a remix of DANCING QUEEN by Abba for HARDCORE, with clips. That's below. What're your thoughts?
