The Awfulness!! The Hotness!! Behold The Awfully Hot DOA!!

Okay, so, I'm not really sure what to say about this. Truthfully, I haven't been following this project too closely, having long ago abandoned hope that we would ever see a reputable big screen adaptation of a video game. I do know the game itself, though - my kid kicks my ass at it using combo moves I can never seem to emulate. Little bastard. Anyways, there's a DOA movie out there, somewhere. Its entirety recently made a brief appearance on Google Video. I dutifully tried to watch it, but the picture quality was completely depressing. What little I could make out looked downright silly, and not the least bit tantalizing. The performances were...ah, who gives a shit about the performances? None the less, I suppose I'll give this a chance...for the impossibly hot babes with cool weapons, ya know. Here's what the film's trailer looks like, in case you haven't seen it yet. Seems the movie is headed for a June 15 release, despite persistent rumors that it's been banished straight-to-video. In an amusing example of fetishistic synchronicity, DOA will open opposite NANCY DREW. Father Time sent in these posters - they're from DOA's international promotional campaign. They kind of speak for themselves. Thought you might like to take a look before we get bludgeoned by our own domestic marketing.
