One year after Warner Bros. and “Gilmore Girls” mastermind Amy Sherman-Palladino failed to come to an agreement that would keep the Sorkinesque writer-producer-director on the show, “Gilmore Girls” is no more. Its final episode, featuring Christiane Amanpour, airs May 15. Sherman-Palladino has in the works a new Fox project, “The Return of Jezebel James” starring Parker Posey (“Superman Returns”) and Lauren Ambrose (“Six Feet Under”).
