Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The comic book trend continues. Columbia has picked up the rights to Dark Horse's THE ARK, a comic created by Mark Verheiden, who also had a hand in most of DH's ALIENS books.
Mark Verheiden should be beginning to appear on our geekdars... you WBorwhateverthehellitisnow fans will be happy he's been writing some SMALLVILLE and the rest of us are happy to hear that he penned MY NAME IS BRUCE, the absolutely sweet sounding Bruce Campbell vehicle that has begun screening to very good word.
I'm not familiar with THE ARK, but from what I hear it's a melding of Noah's Ark and the crashing of a UFO.
Verheiden is adapting his own work for the big screen.
