Holy Anime to Live Action caped crusaders... I'm sooooooo jizzed about this project. According to The Hollywood Reporter today there is a story about how Sony acquired the rights to do ASTROBOY for Christmas 2000 with the deal sort of being handled by the group at Jim Henson's company. Maaaaaaan, an ACCURATE and perfectly expressive tin litho styled ASTROBOY doing the things ASTROBOY did would just sooooooooooooooooooooo be cool. At the same time.... It could so suck if they like decide to go some cg-modeling after an actor's face.... NO... NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO.... He has to look like ASTROBOY, and if he does then it's gonna rock. And ASTROBOY can't turn into a real boy that looks like Jonathon Taylor Thomas at the end... That's a major rule... Anyway, I was just curious how excited you readers would be by this project.... What say ye?
