SWEEPS DAY SIX!!
Capone Appraises
THE SHIELD 6.5!!

I am – Hercules!!
AICN’s main man in the Midwest, “Capone,” loads up his take on “The Shield” 6.5. Beware uninvisotexted spoilers! Episode 6.5 -- Haunts Shane's badly battered and bruised body is wheeled into the emergency room. When Vic and Ronnie arrive, Shane insists it was a random jumping by some street kids, but Vic is determined to find out what happened. Meanwhile the team finds out the dead illegals were all recently released from a Mexican prison and were probably killed as revenge for the disappearance of the Salvadoran leader. Hyatt decides to use his INS connections (he's a former border guard) to get information on the Mexicans' deaths, and finds out all sorts of useful information about the killings and Lem's death. Dutch and Steve continue their rape investigation, which leads them to an overly helpful founder of a runaway center whose own daughter went missing years earlier. Shane eventually confesses to Vic that his beating came from the stepfather of his underage girlfriend and asks Vic not to deliver payback. Shane's wife isn't as forgiving when she finds out the truth, and she throws him out. Not long after, Shane begins popping OxyContin like a fiend. Before the episode is over Shane confesses to his wife what he did to Lem in one of the Season most harrowing moments. Capone
