I am – Hercules!!
Somebody needs to start with the drug screenings for MTV’s “Real World/Road Rules Challenge”!
I can smell the steroids through the screen; the guys on this show have grown enormous. Roid-ragey fights are breaking out with alarming regularity, even though punching out fellow contestants will get you booted.
Will there be a rule change? Because even if you get booted off one Bunim-Murray show for beating down a fellow contestant, it seems you’re immediately invited back for another. And this seems to embolden the fightier fellas.
Abram Boise got kicked off “Road Rules: South Pacific” for assaulting a fellow contestant on camera. He was subsequently invited on three editions of “Challenge,” then the most recent all-stars edition of “Road Rules.” During the latter he was kicked off for assaulting a fellow contestant on camera.
And Abram’s back for tonight’s premiere of “RW/RR Challenge: Inferno 3.”
The presence of Abram and his capacity to squander opportunity may be a concern for his fellow contestants, but he won’t keep me from tuning in.
The 20 contestants broken down by season:
Colie (Denver)
Davis (Denver)
Jenn (Denver)
Tyrie (Denver)
Ev (New Meat)
Kenny (New Meat)
Janelle (Key West)
John (Key West)
Paula Walnuts (Key West)
Danny (Austin)
Rachel (Austin)
Ace (Paris)
C.T. (Paris)
Aneesa (Chicago)
Tonya (Chicago)
Alton (Vegas)
Abram (South Pacific)
Cara (South Pacific)
Susie (Australia)
Timmy (Road Rules II)
Wait a minute! If little crooked-hat Danny’s participating in “Inferno 3” solo, who’s keeping Johnny Fairplay from mounting Melinda?
“Scarred,” a new series which immediately precedes “Inferno 3,” seems to be about sickening mishaps – shinbones sticking out of shins, feet twisted 180 degrees – presumably precipitated by “Jackass” emulators. No word on whether the series will feature paralyzing spinal injuries or not.
“Scarred”: 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. MTV.
“The Challenge”: 10 p.m. Tuesday. MTV.
