Ya know folks... There's all sorts of things a going on with this trailer and ya know... some of them are inevitably going to fall through, but... Hell... I'll give it my best shot. ALLEGEDLY later today, Lincoln over at Countingdown.com is hinting towards possibly having a LARGE download opportunity today. He ain't saying what that download is, but it sounds as if it'll be 15 or more megs. If true... well... Groovy. Then we have the appearances of the trailer on Entertainment Tonight this Wednesday... And ya know... that seems to have been confirmed by folks all over the place. But let's face it, most of ya wanna see this thing in the theater. And STARWARS.COM posted a story yesterday about how the trailer will be 'widespread' and not with any one release this weekend. My source from earlier this week insists that FOX is taking steps to try and insure that every print of WING COMMANDER on FRIDAY will have that trailer. I've been told I can't go into specifics (and I must say that's kind of aggravating) but I will say that a theater will have to go through some pains to separate the trailer on FRIDAY. Of course it's been done before. As for the trailer... there is ALLEGEDLY (word means that there is a RUMOR [word meaning possible lie]) one last surprise that wasn't covered in theforce.net's trailer breakdown... and it isn't a spoiler... but something that might mean changing all your 'countdown' clocks... I guess we'll see either today, tommorrow or Friday if this is true... If not... Ahhh who cares it's worth an accelerated pulse or two...
Don't ask me how, but I got the opportunity to see the upcoming trailer. I won't go into how awesome it really is, I'll allow everyone the chance to see it in the theaters. The one interesting fact that I noticed that you might like to know is that the film's released date on the trailer is MAY 19th. Not May 21st. It looks like Lucas is planning on a 5 day opening weekend, before the 4 day Memorial Weekend.
