Fox will use the almost-last installment of this year’s “American Idol” as a lead-in to “On The Lot,” the new filmmaker-search reality show from producer Mark Burnett (“Survivor,” “The Apprentice,” “Rock Star”) and filmmaker Steven Spielberg. This means a lot of people are going to be watching the first episode of “Lot.” And Fox will be airing a lot of “Lot” soon thereafter, with new episodes airing May 22, 24, 28 and 29.
