Ok you regular X-FILES junkies, Mr Jedi #369, who has mastered all types of Hooked on Phonics books and cassettes, has come up with an interesting bit of cool X-Files news which confirms the earlier story from MONTHS ago that ran on the page about the X- Files movie plot. Why don't you read the following and see what you can learn, pretty damn interesting stuff, if ya ask me.
Regular reader Jedi-369 reporting in with a little bit of X-Files movie info; it might or might not be of interest, but oh well. I go to school in Boston, but I was home in Marlborough (MA) for Thanksgiving vacation, and this article was in the Nov. 30 local paper: "Buccacio sculpts to scare in 'Alien' ". It was all about a Natick resident (this is why it was in the local paper, as Natick is near Marlborough) by the name of Jeff Buccacio who works for Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. in California, according to the caption. It was an article all about the sculpting for AR; apparently this guy did the sculptures for several "mutant Ripley clones" seen in the film, also worked on Starship Troopers, etc. but in describing his future/present projects, there was this:
"...We also did (the film version of) 'My Favorite Martian'. That should be coming out some time next year. I didn't do much sculpting on that because I as working on the 'X-Files' movie. I did the lion's share there, which was pretty cool. We'll see what happens with that one. I did the alien, a couple of frozen Neanderthal men and a half-dead man who has this alien breeding inside of him. His skin is very pale and you can see through him, you can see his arteries working. That film's due to come out June 17. "
Well, there's the meat of it. It was a very cool article, but I couldn't let that X-Files bit slip by without letting you know.
