The new animated "Amazing Spider-Man” will differ from the 2003 MTV CGI series (starring Neil Patrick Harris in the title role) by covering the webbing wonder’s earliest days, when Peter Parker was still a high-school junior. Writer-producer Greg Weisman ("Buzz Lightyear of Star Command," "Kim Possible," "Ben 10," "The Batman") will serve as supervising producer. It hits the Kids WB about a year from now.
