We've heard a kajillion start dates on this project, each one being pushed a bit further, then again... a bit further. Will this start date hold up? Beginning in JULY will we have to have a zillion Toronto folks with long lenses taking shots of costumes and make up? Only time will tell...
A friend of mine who works in the film industry, up here in Toronto, passed along this small piece of information.
According to his production schedule, listing all films that have contracts to film in the Toronto area for the coming year, The X-Men have booked July 31, 1999 as day one of a 90 day shoot.
It lists 20th Century Fox as the production company, Ralph Winter as producer and Bryan Singer as director.
