Wow... I am stunned. I never dreamed that the final vote would be decided by so narrow a margin. OUT OF SIGHT became the coolest film by a margin of just 4 votes. The final tally was OUT OF SIGHT= 4079, DARK CITY=4075 and THE BIG LEBOWSKI=3216.
Now we enter the next phase of the awards... Who to give the Award to? Now personally I believe the award should be planted firmly in Steven Soderbergh's hands because that film oozed coolness from every aspect of the movie. It wasn't (for me) a single performance or purely the script. It was the overall groove that the film hit, and I (personally) think that falls upon Soderbergh.
BUT it's not my decision. This is your deal. So, I open it up to all of you to nominate your choice for who, from the line up of talent that made OUT OF SIGHT... Who deserves to keep and own the actual physical COOLEST AWARD for this past year? I'm going to give a list of people here that were involved in this film. But ultimately, their names must be in the subject line of your talk backs in order to make it on to the first poll. So nominate your choice...
Possible Nominees...
