Here are kickrear Aztecs in KINGDOM OF THE SUN. This should be a visual delight, since the aztec/mayan world was so colorful and intricate, the pyramids and jungle so rich and lush for detail. I grew up traveling the different sites even as they were being uncovered, from Tikal to Palenque to Tulum. Otherworldly beauty in those rainforested pyramids. A fierce world to build an animated story in, personally I still love that Mayan special on PBS that had the animated sequences based on the art in the culture. Fantastic legends.
