The Crap-shooting Pallbearer sent in this report from the set of the (DUMMM DUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM) BLUES BROTHERS!!!!! You see Toronto, is becoming a hub for coolness, as is all of Canada. I mean any country that hosts the shooting of The X-Files, Mr Magoo, Snake Eyes (DePalma's next), Blues Brothers and Eaters of the Dead has got to be cool by definition. I don't know where this spy's 5 other Crap-shooting Pallbearers are, but this one was cool as hell. Surviving the Hollywood maelstrom in all it's fury to hear the coolest show band of them all weave a songs of spirits on the wide open plains. Coooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!
Just thought i'd let you know, i was an extra on Blues Brothers 2000 film, here in Toronto. More importantly i was an extra in the scene, where John and Dan sing "Ghost Riders On The Plains" and was fortunate enough to be one of the crowd who gets battered by the storm while the blues brothers sing, and got to witness the tractor pull. More interesting is the fact they have a great entrance in this scene their car falls out of the sky hits the ground, they get out walk up on stage and the car blows up behind them. It was a great night I got to meat Dan who really cool, during breaks him and john would preform for us. Plus one last thing whoever the kid is in the movie, the third elwood i guess, he steels the show, he had all the extras rolling on the floor.
By the way, I have the feeling that this number will rival the RAWHIDE number in the original. I really love the song, but think the brothers blues can rock it!!!
