Next we have TARZAN which I'll be damned, it looks sooooooooooo good. God I hope
this one is PERFECT. I'm an old time lover of Burroughs' original tales and of the Johnny
and Maureen cool as hell Tarzan flicks of yesteryear. I was babysat by Johnny at a
convention we did back in the seventies and I remember him as being sweet as can be. I
remember my greatest questions being about where Cheetah was. He died shortly
thereafter. But as a result I've been fascinated with all things Tarzan. I have faith that
Glenn Keane can do an absolutely brilliant job (the pencil below offers an example of
Glenn's work) and Jane (also below) looks fantastic. But I'm DYING to hear what Alan
Silvestri and Phil Collins cook up. That is damn near the oddest teaming in Disney
history. And I love both of them. If you have any clue as to what style they are heading
for, for the musical parts of this film, please by all means drop me a note.
