RANDOM HEARTS gets Ba...Bump, Ba...Bumped to the Fall

Well, I guess the question is... Did it get knocked back to the Fall because its so gooooood they want the Academy to load it down with awards? Time will tell.

Columbia Pictures has officially moved the upcoming Harrison Ford Dramatic Thriller RANDOM HEARTS from the Summer Movie Season to the Fall. No reason was given, though, Executive Producer Warren Adler has stated on his website (http://www.warrenadler.com) that it would be moved due to the high quality of the film, and the expected Oscar Consideration it should receive. He has also said on his site that Harrison Ford gives "one of the greatest performances of his career."

He has also stated before in other forums that the chemistry between the film's leads - Ford & British actress Kristen Scott Thomas - is so strong that many people who worked on the film are for certain that audiences will feel every pain staken moment they both endure in each of their particular experiences in the story. I guess their performances have even moved people on the set of this film.

Though the plot of the film - at first- would seem simple to some - Ford & Thomas's Characters meet after both of their spouses die in a plane crash - the screen writers developed a crucial subplot, or actually two subplots in the story: Ford's character, Dutch Van Den Broeck is involved in a deadly high-stakes corruption case (he's a Washington D.C. Internal Affairs Detective), and Thomas's character (Kay Chandler) is a Senator involved in a bitter re-election campaign. There are enemies at every turn in the story and both leads turn to each other for moral support and a romance then develops.

But it doesn't end there. Then the subplots really kick in to high gear and both leads - while fighting their enemies - have to decide whether or not they should stay with each other. This story is filled with so much tension, betrayal & deceit that it comes to an abrupt and furious climax.

Let's hope this film finally gives ALL-TIME BOX OFFICE DRAW Harrison Ford the "respect" as an "actor" that has eluded him for years.

This film, I hear, is said to be a real winner. So maybe this is the one that will wake up Hollywood & Critics alike and they will recognize what millions of people around the world have, that not only is Harrison Ford the Biggest Box Office Draw in History, but also, he is one hell of an actor. Maybe they will finally recognize and appreciate his brilliance.

The official Columbia Pictures website addy for the film is : http://www.randomhearts.com

And of note - Warren Adler - this film's Executive Producer - is also the Author of the Novel (of the same name) this film is loosely based on.

Thanks again,

TEMPLER.
