I've been hearing from all over about this project and it sounds like it could be tense as hell if they do it right. Though I could have sworn that Mel Gibson's next project would be FAHRENHEIT 451... but... well stars and directors are known to change their minds quite a bit. I'd love to hear everything you folks may hear about this project...
I have a scoop for you. I'm hearing that Mel Gibson is in serious negotiations to make an interesting script called "Phonebooth" his next project. Gibson's character spends most of the film trapped in a phonebooth...oh, the drama! Here's the plot...A sniper takes aim at a phonebooth across from his own building. The next guy who goes into the phonebooth to make a call receives a call instead from the sniper with directions on what the sniper wants done. I won't reveal the rest, but it's a pretty interesting read.
