Well, it seems that RESIDENT EVIL is probably still a ways from happening. Script troubles tend to take... a while to get straight. I sort of dread the concept of filming it... 'balls out' then cutting it down to R, when is someone going to have the balls to do a gore film... theatrically... ALL THE WAY. It's been sooooooo long. Oh well, maybe someday...
Just got my new issue of EGM or Electronic Gaming Monthly in the mail and guess what, It has the interview with George Romero that they promised 3 or so issues back. Its a relatitivly lengthy 3-page interview in which he goes into some detail woth his involvement with the Resident Evl movie. I'm not really feeling like time to take the time to print it all out but it will be on the news stands in a week or so. for the important stuff Romero says that they have had various scrpits but Capcom wasn't pleased with the quality of them so he is working on his. He also restates that they plan on shooting it balls out and editing it down to R. He says he hasn't talked to Tom Savini but wouldn't mind working with him for "old times sake" and that it would be weird for him to stand in a room filled with zombies without Tom Savini there. He also says that he doesn't have any plans for Twilight of the Dead.
Golgothan.
