13 DAYS a go at SONY'

Well, ya see this is what happens when a studio (UNIVERSAL) is in panic mode. The let go of what is quite honestly a GREAT film, and SONY being a smart studio picks it up and places it in their basket of films. So now SONY has a great film and UNIVERSAL is likely to be twiddling their thumbs and scratching their collective asses. I just hope UNIVERSAL still has enough brains to continue moving on their CGI FRANKENSTEIN and HELLBOY. Their incompetence has already cost them the COEN Brother's next project, as well as Steven Soderberg's and this film. Well... as long as they all find a nice home eh?

"13 DAYS" is 99% a go at Sony. They have a start date of mid-March, and all the principals are still involved: Phil Alden Robinson, John Lindley (DP), Jon Huttman (Production Designer), and Andy Davis (Producer - not the Andrew Davis, director. This guy was one of the producers on "Enemy of the State").

I sure hope it gets made too, 'cause it is one excellent script. I can't believe Universal screwed Phil Robinson TWICE now (the first time, or course, with "Age of Aquarius").

RFK

Folks, this is the movie detailing the CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS. It is a taut and brilliantly written drama, with JFK, RFK and their Chief of Staff as the lead characters. In a world of dumb movies, it's got the brains for a whole year's worth of Sandler and Jonathon Taylor Thomas films...
