The Opening Crawl For STAR WARS EPISODE ONE!!! SPOILERS!!! PLUS the SWE1 cover of VANITY FAIR!!!

Hey folks, the fellas over at Countingdown.com sent me this groovy cover of the VANITY FAIR Star Wars Issue. Word has it, that it hits the streets of New York tomorrow, with a ton of mondo cool picturooos from the marvelous Annie Leibovitz. Now, I'm not sure, but I could have sworn that Jar Jar there, was a CG thing, but I guess Annie's ol camera has... magic abilities.... Industrial Lights and Magic abilities me thinks....

Well folks, here we go. I'll be damned if some damned magazine like VANITY FAIR or some two bit show like ACCESS HOLLYWOOD is gonna tell ya first. Nope, that'd be no good. Now before I put this out there, I want you folks that are reading this to consider what the folks that don't ever want to even hear this before they see the movie on that fateful day in May. I had no intention on letting this out, it was something I thought should remain pure for the initial release. And you should respect the rights of the folks that don't want to know. So don't go a memorizing this and quoting it out loud in the line before the films... that's rude. Remember, with knowledge comes wisdom, and it would be wise to not ruin it for other folks. Ok? Alright. So here ya go....

----------------------------------

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic
The Taxation of trade routes to outlying star
systems is in dispute.

Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade
of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade
Federation has stopped all shipping to and
from the small planet of Naboo.

While the Congress of the Republic endlessly
debates this alarming chain of events, the
Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched
two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace, to
settle the conflict...

Then of course we'll naturally pan down....

Take it easy, you've only got 140 days or so to go.... I'm dying too....
