Hey boils and ghouls, I love the House on Haunted Hill film that Vincent Price was in.... it was soooooooooo coooool. The great William Castle directed the original classic. In the theaters when it came out, there were skeletons flying around the theater, and bugs thrown on the patrons... ahhhhhhhh it was a thing of beauty. I wish I could go back in time and see it like that, but alas... I have to settle for MATINEE by Joe Dante... It would be so damn awesome if they pulled out the classic William Castle tricks, and had theater employees fucking with the audience. Ahhhhhhh.... If you find out anything further...on this film, anything cool they're doing... tell me.
House on Haunted Hill is getting ready to start shooting, produced by Joel Silver. Casting is very preliminary, but it looks strong that Marilyn Manson, Rose McGowan, Chris Kattan and, very tentatively, Jeff Goldblum, will be in the cast. The director is Bill Malone.
