Rumors about VIRUS being a pretty cool movie

Here in the last 2 months, I've been hearing rumors that VIRUS may in fact be a cool movie. The trailers have been 'ok' to 'pretty uninteresting', but hey, that's UNIVERSAL's marketing machine. The same machine that made OUT OF SIGHT, FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS, BABE: PIG IN THE CITY and MEET JOE BLACK the aaaaaaaaamazing box office bonanzas they were. Do you think that the heads at Universal ever once looked at the Marketing department instead of Casey Silver. Oh yes, let's fire Casey, our opening weekends have been sucking. Hello... McFly, that's due to M-A-R-K-E-T-I-N-G not Silver. Anyway... VIRUS used to have a cool looking movie poster, but the latest one sucks on a PINKY's dog till there's no more grease.

I've been talking to people from Digital Domain to one of the major Industry Magazines to a couple of people in production on the film, and well.... They seem to all think the movie is pretty damn cool. I just noticed the official site opened up at VirusTheMovie.com, and the stills look cool, the behind the scenes article sounded groovy... and well... I want to know if any of you geeks out there have seen this thing? I'd hate to think there's a really cool movie that is once again getting the shaft from a crappy marketing department. Well, what do you folks think?
