Well this sounds like an epic film. Too bad WARNER BROS didn't have the vision to go forward on the Christopher McQuarrie ALEXANDER THE GREAT project... Hopefully I'll be getting a skinny on that project soon. As for now... well it seems that DREAMWORKS is wanting to bring back the EPIC... HURRAY!!!!! Just got cast as an extra in Big old Ridley's BIG OLD ROMAN MOVIE!!
I am one of over 700 people to be weilding god knows what kind of weopons in February.
All I know is that I have to be fitted at shepperton studios on the 6th of January as a german troop. Well That's not all I know. I was handed an information sheet about what will be required of me ( well 700 of us)!!
Here's a word for word description from the sheet about the mocie and our involvement:
Gladiator is being directed by Ridley Scott (Director of G.I. Jane, Alien, and Blade Runner). You will be involvedij the opening sequence, set in the year 180AD in the far reaches of the Roman Empire, Germania. A massive battle occurs between the Roman Felix regiment and the germans. You have all been in battle for a long time, so it will be gritty and dirty. The romans will have short hair( but probably unshaven), the Germans will have longer hair and possibly beards.
