Our spy known as Hot Carl (don't ask) sent in this report on the decidedly different degree of film, FROST. He claims that they are shooting for a Christmas 1998 release date. Well, that means next Christmas we should be getting the latest Robert Rodriguez film, the Wing Commander film and Frost. Despite your earlier postings, FROST (aka Jack Frost, Frosty The Snowman) at Warner Bros. is alive and well. WB is planning to shoot in February and release as thier Christmas 1998 film. With Troy Miller (a fabulous young comedic director) now attached many of Hollywood's best physical comedic actors are being considered. Most likely for this project....Kevin Kline (also being considered....Travolta, Willis, even Jim Carrey).
Since Mark Canton took over this project, every talent agent in town is pitching thier A-list stars. Warner Brothers has put a lot of money into the effects on this project and the new draft by Bloom & Roberts is fantastic. Despite your earlier reports about Henson "really making" this movie being false, Henson's puppet makers have developed one of the most amazing effects you have ever seen. Look for the merchandising on this baby to go through the roof.
The story is in the vein of ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE, and will be marketed for the kid in all of us.
