BABE: Pig To Slaughter' Info on Babe 3...

Well, being broke sucks because I can't afford to see every movie that comes out, so I haven't been able to see BABE: PIG IN THE CITY yet, but between Robogeek ecstatic geekgasmicly excited recommendation, and Siskel and Ebert's love letters... well... It seems that it's a film I should not let get away. In fact, Siskel even sounded like he wanted a spinoff film to focus on the Ferdinand the Goose/Duck character. Well personally I want a very dark Babe film where the farm is sold and all the livestock sold off. Babe is sent to Slaughter, and we have the most intensely horrifying film the world has ever seen. Children scarred for life. Bacon becomes the symbol of death round the world. Hee hee hee. Ok, I'm sick, fine I'll admit it. But here's what has come in about a possible third BABE film....

Just a tid-bit of information that I found in a local paper here in sunny Queensland, Australia:

Plans for a third movie in the smash-hit Babe series are under way on the eve of the Australian premiere of Babe: Pig in the City.

United International Pictures and Universal Pictures, who produced the sequel, are said to be keen on another adaption of by Babe creator George Miller.

(it goes on to say)...

And the actor (in reference to Magda Szubanski) confirmed a third installment was being considered.

"George Miller has so many ideas in his head, we'll just have to wait and see," she said.

"But there's definently talk that there'll be another adventure for Babe."

Well, there you are. It looks like the talking pig, dog, goose, monkey and everything else are set for another adventure.

Sorcerer.
