PLEASE NOTE: it will likely be *mid-day* USA time before people have had a chance to see the selected screenings and write-in with their reactions to the Prequel trailer!
Glen the Coaxial guy here…
Well folks, today’s the big day.
Fifteen years of waiting and wondering takes on a new meaning today, as fans across the country…the ones lucky enough to be in a "preview zone" at least…storm theaters to get a glimpse of the first STAR WARS movie since 1983.
Sure, it’s just a trailer, it’s just a preview. But to so many people, today represents much more. To many people, this *film* is much more than just a film. What this trailer and movie represent will, hopefully, be well articulated and indicated in the TALKBACKS below. This page is about nothing more than giving the readers of this page - and fans of STAR WARS - a chance to share with each other (and the world) their first impressions STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE.
Is it beautiful? Ugly? Sophisticated looking? Stupid looking? Magical? Ineffective? Is it the STAR WARS we’ve known for a long time, or something…different? Will everyone agree about what hits screens today, or will opinions be sharply divided?
THIS PAGE IS RESERVED FOR "TALKBACKS" ABOUT TUESDAY NOVEMBER 17’S PREVIEW OF THE "STAR WARS - EPISODE I" TRAILER. It would be nice if readers would refrain from posting until someone has put a post in plce indicating they have seen the trailer, and articulated their thoughts about it. Other than that, please feel free to post your thoughts, comments, likes, dislikes, creative input, over-all impressions, joys and disappointments etc. about the new trailer, which debuted November 17 in select theaters across the country, and will open in a broader release Friday November 20.
Just scroll down to the "talkback" icon below, click, and get started!
A few perameters:
*Please* be aware that we will be monitoring the "talkbacks", and the deletion of a post could be a mouse-click away. Let’s be civil and responsible. Swearing is fine, but not at each other - and not about others. Say whatever you think, but always respect other people’s opinions and rights to disagree. Other than that, the sky’s the limit. This is your chance to review (and talk about) a major entertainment & cultural event with other Aint It Cool News readers as your peers. Have fun with it. Learn from it. And, ENJOY!!!
