Hey folks, Glen the Coaxial guy here…
Harry’s out of the loop for the next few days, and I wanted to make sure this got out to the masses - so here I am!
This regards the list of theaters offering an advanced look at the STAR WARS: EPISODE I trailer Tuesday - specifically the list posted Friday by STARWARS.COM .
There seem to be two things going on here which are worthy of note to anyone planning on trundling out to catch the trailer Tuesday. ONE: a few theaters on the list may have *canceled* plans to screen the EPISODE I trailer Tuesday, and TWO: some theaters on the list have been replaced by other theaters (usually in the same chain of theaters).
This mix-up is *not* the fault of STARWARS.COM . With so many theaters doing so much, so fast - there are bound to be a few hitches here and there.
A WORD OF ADVICE: if you are planning on going out to catch the trailer Tuesday, talk to theater management to *make sure* the trailer is actually screening the place you intend to see it - WHETHER OR NOT that place is on the STARWARS.COM list, and confirm the films with which it will be playing. Otherwise, you may waste a lot of time, and be unpleasantly surprised and disappointed.
This is not a crisis, just a precautionary "heads up!" aimed at making sure everyone has the easiest (and most enjoyable) time possible Tuesday. HAVE FUN!!!
