Ok folks, I was talking to a fella the other day at ROLLING THUNDER FILMS and he told me that after HARD CORE LOGO, the MIGHTY PEKING MAN would be Rolling Thunder's next release. Now I am about positive that the vast majority of folks ain't ever even begun to have heard of this film. I happened to have caught it on cable one of them dark and stormy nights when the sky was howling and the world was on it's ear. It was as pure and wacky fun as they get. The 11-story gorilla/ape creature and the wild Sheena type woman in Tibet will just get you having about as much fun in a theater as you can. God, I wish I could be in Hawaii for this one, but I can't. So it's up to you folks out there to tell us less fortunate ones what we have to look forward to from Rolling Thunder. Thanks a lot....
For any of your readers that live in Hawaii, you might want to advise them that Quentin Tarantino will be screening two films this week at the Hawaii International Film Festival.
Tuesday night: Mighty Peking Man
11:30 PM Hawaii Theater
Friday night: Switchblade Sisters
11:30 PM Hawaii Theater

Notice the late playtime (no other movies that late). As I read in the local paper, Quentin was not scheduled to come to the festival, but at the last minute he decided he "wanted to see some movies" and brought a couple with him.
