Harry here, and here ya go... Looks like a new film in the same genre of TRUE ROMANCE/USUAL SUSPECTS and LOCK,STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS is in the works and we got the drop on it. So here ya go....
Columbia-TriStar are literally a day or two away from inking a deal with an indie UK production company called Film Development Corporation to greenlight a picture called CIRCUS. Starring John Hannah, Eddie Izzard and an as-yet-unnamed female lead (QUITE POSSIBLY Catherine Zeta Jones). It's a thriller/crime noir flick set in Britain and sort of a cross between Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Usual Suspects, and True Romance.
CIRCUS was written by the masterful David Logan, who has just signed a deal with SONY for a 1/4 million U.S. $
Slated to shoot beginning in March, virtual unknown director Rob Walker is at the helm and James Gibb produces for FDC.
