A source on THE GREEN MILE, dropped me this tidbit about the release date of the film. Sigh... Well, at least this means they'll have all the post-production time in the world to get things like fireflies and Mr Jingles dead on. I can just hear the agonized screams of the fans of this project....
During your set visit you were told that "The Green Mile" was tentatively schedule for release summer 1999 (end of July) but it has been moved to a Fall/Thanksgiving 1999 release (no exact date yet). Many of your readers had expressed concern that it would be overshadowed by "Eyes Wide Shut," "Wild West West" etc... so I thought this might be of interest.
