I am – Hercules!!
Ben Silverman, executive producer of NBC’s “The Office,” tells Don Kaplan at the New York Post that some of the cast of the original BBC version of "The Office" will turn up to interact with Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight, et al.
Silverman did not specify which BBC cast members would be involved. British creator-star Ricky Gervais, apparently, will not be among the first BBCers to appear on the NBC version:
Gervais, who created, wrote and starred in the original and serves as an executive producer on the NBC show, is writing a separate episode of the U.S. version. He is also considering a guest appearance on the show, but that's not likely to happen for some time, Silverman says. "We're going to save the big man for now," he says.
Also according to the Post:
It was not immediately clear if the British cast members will be reprising their roles from the original U.K. version of "The Office" or simply popping up in other roles.
