AB king sent in a link to ROCKY BALBOA footage that aired on THE INSIDER the other night; clips of a trailer that'll be playing in front of some (but not all) prints of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST starting today.
Personally, I'm really looking forward to this film. I think it's wise to view Rocky as an aging hero (i.e. treating the films as a "life chronicle") rather than trying to convince us that no time has passed...that Balboa is everything he used to be...etc. I want to know where this film goes; I want to know what happens to this character. This feels much more logical and organic to me than...say...the new RAMBO movie we're continually threatened with.
If I were you, I'd prepare for the End of All Things. With ROCKY BALBOA pummeling theaters on December 22, we only have five and a half months (or so) before AB king reaches critical mass, unleashing an extinction level shockwave that will lay the entire surface of the Earth to waste.
