Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
I find this story fascinating and bizarre. My buddy Jeff just sent me the link, and I'm just riveted.
It’s fairly ballsy to participate in a tell-all book, especially for an A-list director who makes expensive personal films. But Night has been defined, for better and for worse, by his reaction to studio executives and his experiences with them in the past, as well as his supreme distate for anyone who criticizes his work. I’ve said this before... I think he’s a talented guy who just seems to buy his own hype way too much... but after reading this article, which is simply a preview of the book, I can’t help but be a little blown away by the picture this paints. I don’t know anyone this hypersensitive in this business, and it’s just deranged. If it was fiction, I wouldn’t believe it.
I’m picking this book up as soon as it comes out. I’m shocked that Shyamalan agreed to participate in this, because I’m not sure it’s going to paint him in the positive light he expects.
"Moriarty" out.
