Guess Who's Coming To LA???!!!

Many of you wrote me about my "ARMAGEDDON ADVENTURE" well, I'm following that up with "HARRY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD!!!" An all-star extravaganza in which Harry is flown (all expense paid) by the Starship Troopers cool people to La La Land. That's right, Los Angeles Geeks, I'm on my way. Not only that, but the Hollywood types are rolling out the red carpet for myself and Geek #2 (Glen Oliver)! We'll be going to the World Premiere (yeah right, ok, technically it's like the 18th viewing, but this time the stars'll be there, and they'll have floodlights, and so on).

Wanna see the two pathetic geeks that run this here thing? Well by golly, show up!!! How? Well read on:

On Tuesday, November 4th at 7:00p.m. at the Mann Village Theater (located at 961 Broxton Avenue) in Westwood, the Premiere will begin. I'm not sure how these things work, but my bet is that there will be people there a lot cooler than me, but I do think it would be cool to see some AICN friendly people on either side of the barricades to witness Harry in his most out of place moment.

Show up with a print up of the page and Harry will act the part of a self important media god and walk past you without blinking an eye. Or he might come over and say, "coooooooool". Or he might die of a heart attack brought on by years of heavily fatty foods. Most likely you'll see Michael Ironside walking behind me, rubbing his temples and staring at me. Then you'll see my head pulsating, until finally in a triumph of Rob Bottin gore, Harry's head will explode in a torrent of blood caked grey matter. And you'll hear Verhoeven exclaim, "DAMN, Where's my *&%!@*$ camera when I need it!!!!"

After the film, I'll be whisked away to some fabulous party somewhere. The premiere and the party, I believe, will be covered on E! and Hollywood Online (in a live video feed). So you might catch me there. I'll be the guy who'll be walking around asking, "Are you famous?" "ummmm, are you famous?" "Hey... are you famous?" And Glen will be the one walking around with his jaw dragging the ground in search for Dina Meyer, oh yeah just follow the slobber trail!!!

Seriously though folks, I have to thank all of you people out there for making what amounts to a dream come true. Because of the support yall give to this page, they (Sony/Starship Troopers people) are flying me out there, putting me up in a Beverly Hills hotel, renting me a car, giving me tickets to the world premiere and the party afterwards!!! My whole life I've wanted to go to a Hollywood World Premiere and yall helped make it happen.

I'm gonna be doing this thing Tuesday & Wednesday, so naturally I won't be home updating. But soon as I get back, I'll try to get up one hell of a cool report. I'm trying to hook up with as many cool people in LA as possible, and I think we'll get some cool stuff done! Oh by the way, look for a review of Starship Troopers later today (Monday), I wanted to get a review of it up, before I went to LA, so I would have an un-star struck review for yall!!!

Once again thanks,

Harry

P.S. Here are directions to the theater!!!

Directions: NW corner of Broxton and Weyburn, 3 blocks north of Wilshire in Westwood Village. Go up Gayley or Westwood.

Parking Tips: Street meters (free after 7) or $2 in one of many garages with the PP logo; $1 is refunded when you purchase your ticket.

So there ya go, hope to see you (whoever you are) there!!! Look for me, I'm the Geek that'll waddle down the carpet with tons of red hair!
